«FAQs about FCI Self Storage«
Should
I make a reservation?
Availability
changes on a daily basis. In order to make sure that the space that you
want is available when you need it, we recommend that you make an
advance reservation.
Do
I need insurance?
You may carry your
own insurance (check your homeowner's or renter's policy to see if you
are already covered) or apply for insurance coverage from a company
that specializes in self-storage insurance. We provide new tenants with
a brochure from one of these companies. Insurance is the tenant’s
responsibility.
Do
you give me a key?
You provide your
own lock and key so that you are the only one with access to your unit.
You may purchase a high security disc lock at the storage office for
only $10.00 (including tax), or a brass padlock for $ 9.00 (including
tax).
We've checked
around and our prices for locks are the best!
What
type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash,
check, Visa and MasterCard.
Do
you sell boxes?
We sell a variety
of moving boxes at the storage office.
What
is the minimum time that I can store for?
The minimum rental
period is 1 month.
What
kind of documentation do I need to rent a unit?
A valid driver’s
license or federal ID with picture is required to rent a unit.
How
long will it take to complete my transaction on move-in day?
The
entire move-in process should take less than 15
minutes. Please keep in mind that this time could vary depending on
whether there are other customers ahead of you when you
arrive.
